The NUS Symphony Orchestra also holds multiple events each year to reach out to other musicians, the NUS student population, as well as for our own members.

As part of the NUS Symphony Orchestra, members participate in multiple bonding activities which include our annual Welcome Tea for our new members, camps, retreats, and post-concert celebrations which are held at our conductor, Maestro Lim Soon Lee’s place after every major concert.

In order to reach out to the other musicians in Singapore, the NUS Symphony Orchestra also holds Tune-In sessions to invite other students from tertiary institutes to join us in our music-making. Also, we work with the NUS Jazz Band and the NUS Wind Symphony to organise the annual TRIO camp, which serves as a one-of-a-kind NUS music orientation camp for the incoming freshmen.

As a part of the NUS Centre for the Arts and a group belonging to NUS, we also partake in events held by both organisations including the Student Life Fair and the HERE Arts Campus Party.
