Miniatures is a long-running concert series presented by the NUS Symphony Orchestra, where musicians form their own chamber groups and choose their own music to perform. This year, apart from showcasing our very own talents, NUSSO will also be collaborating with the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music.

Miniatures 2016 will bring you on a musical journey through the times, all the way from the classical era to modern day. Featuring different chamber formations, from string octets, to trios, to brass quintets, to percussion ensembles, we promise you a night of enjoyable and exciting music!

  1. My favorite music instrument happens to be the harp which is an instrument used in your Orchestra. Swan Lake Op.20 is one my favorite harp solos. It gives that classical elegant feel as well as soothing. It is a very beautiful performance/sound. I am sure it is a great performance as it is in any other Orchestra. Wonderful piece all together.
